Ubiquiti Networks introduces the EdgeRouter™ X model from the EdgeMAX series. This device in an ultra-compact housing provides economical routing performance. The router has 5 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and a maximum transfer rate of 1000Mbps (via Ethernet LAN). Routers from the EdgdeMAX series are characterized by reliability, performance and excellent price-performance ratio (the best on the market), so it is a very popular router.
The standard ER-X model can be powered from an external power supply or via a passive PoE input. It has a PASSTHROUGH option to power one airMAX unit. Five RJ45 Gigabit ports support PoE 24 V - to power airMAX or UniFi devices.
The EdgeRouter X provides a graphical interface designed for convenience of use and configuration, accessible through a network port and website. Intuitive device management through a virtual port view that displays physical connectivity, speed, and status. The router's website displays detailed statistical information such as IP, MTU, receive and send speed, and physical and virtual status of each interface.
CLI provides quick and flexible command line configuration. It has settings management and monitoring of all advanced functions. It also includes direct access to standard Linux tools and shell commands and access to CLI via SSH, Telnet.
