The buffering module is used to change the functionality of an ordinary power supply to a buffered power supply. Work algorithm: In the operating mode from the AC/DC power supply at the module output, the voltage is equal to the voltage from the power supply reduced by approx. 0.5V. After switching to the buffered operation, the battery is switched until it is completely discharged, i.e. 10.5V after the power supply returns, the battery and charged from the power supply with a peak value of 500 mA are disconnected. The LEDs indicate the presence of voltage at the output (green) and work in buffered (red) mode. The fuse mounted on the plate releases from the additional mounting on the cable connecting the module with the battery. It has protection against the reverse battery connection - the fuse will work. The switching voltage to buffered mode is about 10 V.
Input voltage range 10÷32V regardless of the voltage version (12V or 24V)
Work current up to 4A
Output voltage in operating mode with the UWE-0.5V or Uaku-0.5V power supply for buffered work
Minimum battery capacity 1.3Ah
Output voltage tolerance +/- 2% nominally 13.8V / battery
Protection against:
- reverse polarization of the battery - a fuse not more than 4A
- short -circuit at the battery
- excessive battery discharge at 10.5V (for 1 AKU) +/- 0.3V
- thermal: 50 °C
Permissible operating temperatures: -20 to +40 °C
Lack of mechanical elements, designed and manufactured in Poland.
